Bernard Baertschi is a senior researcher and teaching professor at the University of Geneva Institut Ethique, Histoire et Humanités, as well as a member of the Ethics Committee of Inserm (France). He is currently working on fundamental ethics, bioethics and neuroethics. Among his publications are the following: “Les rapports de l’âme et du corps. Descartes, Diderot, Maine de Biran” (Paris, Vrin, 1992), “La valeur de la vie humaine et l'intégrité de la personne” (Paris, PUF, 1995), “Enquête philosophique sur la dignité” (Genève, Labor & Fides, 2005), “La neuroéthique” (Paris, La Découverte, 2009), “L’éthique à l’écoute des neurosciences” (Paris, Les Belles Lettres, 2013).
