“The Webster Alumni Association is a place where interconnections are lived. Our network provides opportunities to discover new professional career paths and to stay connected with our students.”
The American novelist Ralph Ellison once said, “Education is all a matter of building bridges”. The mission of the Webster Alumni Association is to build bridges between each other and between alumni and Webster University Geneva. Our alumni become living examples in showing the impact of higher education for society and the workplace. As our university lives from interaction in the classrooms and on campus, these experiences turn into professional skills. Our alumni become ambassadors for the values of our quality higher education in better understanding today’s complex world and in providing solutions for the most challenging problems.
The Webster Alumni Association is a place where interconnections are lived. Our network provides opportunities to discover new professional career paths and to stay connected with our students. Social events and presentations are organized on campus to facilitate these connections. Webster University Geneva regularly invites alumni to speak to students about their professional experiences.
The diversity of the pathways chosen by our more than 4000+ alumni represent the diversity of Webster University Geneva. Our students are well prepared to become experts in their fields from psychology to business, from serving as counselors to media specialists, health care managers to experts in international relations, just to name a few. Our liberal arts education opens doors and builds bridges to interdisciplinary perspectives.
Last but not least, Webster alumni are supporters of their alma mater by funding scholarship programs and other projects at Webster University Geneva.
At the Webster Alumni Association we are proud to facilitate these bridges that Ralph Ellison has identified as a significant role of education.
