Foppiani at Transatlantic Studies Conference
On July 6-8, Dr. Oreste Foppiani, IR Department Head and Associate Professor of International
History & Politics, participated in the fourteenth annual conference of the Transatlantic
Studies Association (www.transatlanticstudies.com/), which was hosted by the Roosevelt Study Center (www.roosevelt.nl) in Middelburg, the Netherlands. Dr. Foppiani presented a paper on “American Industrial
Mobilization and the U.S. Entry into WWI: DuPont de Nemours, Hard Lobbying and Patriotism.”
