IR Faculty Book Launch in the US

IR Book Launch

On January 19-22, Dr. Oreste Foppiani, Head of the IR Department and Associate Professor of International History and Politics, presented his latest co-edited volume at Webster University’s Department of History, Politics and International Relations (HPIR) in St. Louis, Missouri, and at NYU’s Center for European and Mediterranean Studies (CEMS) in New York City.

The co-edited volume by Foppiani and Oana Scarlatescu, who is currently a Visiting Research Fellow at Webster Geneva Campus, has been well received by both audiences in New York and St. Louis. In the main campus of Webster University, precisely in Sam Priest Hall, Foppiani had the opportunity to meet with his Missourian colleagues and answer the questions of both faculty and students present at the event.

In mid-May, Foppiani and Scarlatescu will also present their volume at the UN Library in Geneva within the UN Office Agenda of Cultural Activities and Library Events in cooperation with the International Institute of Humanitarian Law (Sanremo Institute).
