On Saturday, September 29th 2018, Webster Geneva Campus held the second day of its official 40th anniversary kick-off activities, which brought together the community of Webster students, staff and faculty, along with friends from the local community.

The day started with a 5K race through Bellevue and Genthod. The wind, the cold, and the clouds did not discourage the 45 runners who joined! The third place finisher was current Webster Geneva student, David Matveev. John Warriner, a Bellevue resident who studied at Webster Geneva 20 years ago, arrived in second place, and his daughter, Anja Warriner, won the race in 21min03s.

After the race around 100 participants enjoyed a BBQ on the lower part of the campus with a bouncy castle, a DJ, and activities for kids. The 40th anniversary Steering Committee would like to extend their gratitude to all the generous sponsors and volunteers who helped making this day a great success.
