Creativity Week 2019
The 2nd edition of Creativity Week took part between 17 and 19 of June 2019 as part of the first European Collaborative Creativity Conference (EC3) by joining the 3rd edition of the Marconi Institute for Creativity Conference (20-22 June). This marked the first creativity conference (and potentially conference) to take place in two different geographic locations, Geneva and Bologna, connected by a bus trip with participants attending both events.
The conference comprised a variety of events from idea incubators and paper presentations to workshops, panel discussions, keynotes and even art exhibitions. The keynote speakers list included: Prof. James C. Kaufman (University of Connecticut, USA), Prof. Roni Reiter-Palmon (University of Nebraska, USA), Dr. Mathias Benedek (University of Graz, Austria), and Dr. Lambros Malafouris (University of Oxford, UK). The full program in Geneva can be accessed here and the program in Bologna here.
The 2nd edition of the Creativity Week was open to world leading experts and practitioners in order to foster dialogues that advance the state of the art in creativity and innovation as well as disseminate findings and best practices to a wide audience from Geneva, from Switzerland, and from abroad. It was attended this year by 120 participants from over 20 countries including Australia, Brazil, Japan, US and Canada.
The European Collaborative Creativity Conference (EC3) was sponsored by the Division 10 of the American Psychological Association and the main talks in Geneva have been recorded and can be viewed here, while both full days in Bologna can be watched here.
We look forward to the third edition of the Creativity Week in June 2020!
